Card 43.
Recharge.
Calm Oasis. Quiet Time. Recharge.
The positive benefits of taking quiet time for yourself, to recharge, and calm mind, body, and soul.
After I completed card number 43 and focused on it, I immediately felt calmed. There is a water element to this one which is probably my favourite of all the elements.
I felt like I was in calm oasis and it felt soothing. I love spending quiet time by the sea, it helps me to relax and feel refreshed and recharged. The blue shades take me directly to the sea or a calm lake, with the sea green I feel a cool quality.
From a colour therapist’s perspective the coral can quieten the emotions and brings peace to within the self. Lavender is calming and soothing to the mind and nerves. It helps you to relax when feeling anxious and is often used to help in sleep remedies.

It’s so interesting with the process of making the cards, I intuitively pick the colours, then somehow they all blend together perfectly. You can learn more about colour therapy here, Colour . The colours chosen intuitively blend together somehow, creating a soothing experience. Flower of Life Oracle Cards
Taking quiet time to yourself is so beneficial to help you de stress and recharge. The busyness of life can mean we forget to just be with ourselves. There’s always background noise of some kind or another. When we are constantly on the go, it can be a way to avoid looking within, it’s a distraction.
“There is a stillness and a sanctuary to which you can retreat at any time and be yourself.” Herman Hesse
Embrace this quiet time as an opportunity to recharge your spirit. Allow yourself moments of peaceful reflection and self-care, nurturing your inner self and finding renewed energy.
Spending some time alone will give you the opportunity to have a heart to heart with yourself, giving you the space and time to reflect and collect your thoughts, it helps you to centre yourself and it may even show you which areas of your life you wish to make some changes.
” The paradox of relaxation is the renewal of the mind, rekindling of spirit, and revitalising of strength.” Lailah Gifty Akita.
Relaxing and taking some time for yourself is not always easy, it can be hard to just relax, it may even feel uncomfortable to begin with. If you are constantly busy it can take time to unwind, and for your mind to slow down.
Being outdoors is so relaxing and therapeutic. I find it helps to switch my mind off, being by the seaside or in a woods is my favourite places to go.

Nature really soothes. I often feel a connection with nature. It has been well documented in recent years the health benefits we can get. Being in nature can reduce stress levels, and is a great mood booster. There have been many studies done on the healing power of nature. It helps you get away from it all and recharge.
Studies have shown that the contact of human beings with nature has decreased with the contemporary lifestyle of being most of the time indoors and with increasing screen time. However, the interaction with nature has been considered to be a general health promoter thanks to the many benefits it brings to mental health and cognition as well.
” We get lost in doing, thinking, remembering, anticipating – lost in a maze of complexity and a world of problems. Nature can show us the way home, the way out of the prison of our minds.” Ekchart Tolle
Flower of Life card 43 Gallery reminds us of the need to take quiet time for ourselves to rewind and decompress ( as is the popular term these days.) Everyone has their own way of relaxing. It’s is about finding healthy ways to rewind and replenish and recharge yourself.

The current state of the world can be another source of stress for many. The world will survive without you for twenty minutes, that time can make all the difference to your health and well being, longer would be better still.
