How the flower of life colour oracle began
It really began as a hobby, and a way for me to relax and unwind. I have loved Colour from as far back as I can remember, colouring in was one of my favourite things to do.
I received a book from my daughter for Christmas called “Mandalas of The World” in 2006. This in hindsight sowed the seed for this project.
I chose The Flower of Life Symbol as I loved it’s symbolism and enjoyed experimenting with colouring it in.
I found it amazing to see how each flower of life looked very different, with the colour choice, and by the images and messages I received from spirit. I would then meditate on them. I received words and images, very like they were three dimensional. The images and words I received came through my higher self and spirit guides. I always tune in to them before beginning and ask to be guided throughout the whole process. I trust the colours I’m given, allowing my intuition to take the lead, and leave my thinking, analytical mind to step aside, it is a creative process, I get lost in it.
The Flower of Life itself can be traced back to Ancient Egypt in the Temple of Osiris dating back at least 6000 years.
According to Melchizedek the Flower of Life is a geometric pattern that represents the fundamental forms of space and time.
Within The Flower of Life is the seed of life, Fruit of Life and Metatron’s Cube, which has 13 circles representing what is believed to be every single aspect of reality.
“The basis of every atom, molecular structure, life form, and everything in existence. ”
The cards become a powerful tool for healing and transformation, combined with the energy within the sacred geometry of the Flower of Life and the colours within it. I believe they could bring about changes in your life for the better.
“The pattern that is inherent in all of life, is the Flower of Life”. Teal Swan
A little about Colour
Colour therapy is a subtle non- invasive therapy making use of the healing energy contained within the visible rays of colour.
Colour can be used by Colour Therapists to balance energy, aid creativity and learning, yellow is a great colour to use when studying for instance.
Colour can release blocks and alleviate physical, emotional and mental conditions.
We all know that colour affects our moods. We find some colours are uplifting and inspiring, while others depressing.
We will often use terms like ‘ feeling blue’ or ‘seeing red’ without thinking of the deeper meaning.
Colour affects our mental body too. Certain colours, like blue, helps to calm the mind.

Who are the Flower of Life Colour Oracle cards for?
Anyone really, if you’re drawn to them, have a love of colour, are curious to explore different aspects of yourself. The cards do most of the work. Just familiarise yourself with the images and colours and see what comes to you or jumps out.
Focus on them and see what colours you are drawn to and what images you get. What doesn’t sit comfortably for you? Which ones do you like? This will change to over time, we are drawn to certain colours at different stages in our lives. We may need a colour to support us in taking action or to give us more confidence, red would be ideal for this for example.
How does a particular card make you feel, what does it bring up for you- mentally, emotionally, physically? this is telling you something. Does the card description resonate with you? If it’s a card you don’t like, does the description tell you something or is it an area of your life you maybe need to work on ? It may be something to ponder on.
It may be useful to journal or take notes.
I see the cards as a valuable tool for inner work, shadow work, self-awareness, spiritual growth, and so much more.
Enjoy them! Take a look at the Gallery to view ten of the cards.
I hope to have the full deck of 44 cards published before long.
